Hand pump

In many rural areas, communities rely on contaminated or distant water sources, exposing families to waterborne diseases and making everyday life more challenging. The lack of an accessible and reliable water supply severely affects the health and productivity of these small communities.

Zamzami installs simple, manually operated hand pumps that serve 3–5 households (approximately 20–25 people) at a time. These pumps are easy to install and maintain, providing immediate access to clean water in areas where electricity is not available. The program often includes personalised donor plaques and feedback through photos, creating a tangible connection between supporters and beneficiaries.
