Helping widows

In Pakistan and Kashmir, many widows—often young women under 40—face overwhelming hardships after the loss of their husbands. Without the support of a partner, these women struggle emotionally, financially, and socially, often being forced into vulnerable situations while trying to care for their children.

Zamzami implements comprehensive support programs that provide both immediate aid and long-term solutions. Initiatives include emergency financial assistance (Widow Care) for those unable to work, skills training through Livelihood Programmes, and ongoing support to ensure that widows can secure sustainable income. This multifaceted approach not only relieves immediate hardships but also empowers these women to rebuild their lives and secure a better future for their children.
